I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas is now less than a week away. I can barely stand it!! I love Christmas!! I have been listening to Christmas music since beginning/mid November. This is my absolute favorite time of year. It is hard to believe that Presley's 1st Christmas is around the corner. Time has flown by. We went and looked at Christmas lights the other night. Presley loved it. Below are a few pictures from our adventure. I hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful Christmas season!!!

Merry Christmas~

Yay for Christmas!

This was the coolest and most festive house we saw. The owner even stands outside and hands out candycanes. :)

Brent & Jenny: Our Friends

Brent & Jenny

Wes and I had to say goodbye to two of our closest friends and neighbors over the weekend. Our friend Brent works for CAT and was promoted/transferred to a location in Mississippi. So him and his wife Jenny moved on Saturday. I never thought it would be so hard to say goodbye. Wes and I were pretty bummed on Sunday. They were our black ball, burger cooking, coffee drinking, story telling, good hearted buddies. Having them just a few doors down was answered prayer.

Brent & Jenny: You will be missed. We look forward to visiting you in Mississippi. We love you guys and our so blessed to have you both as friends!! God bless!!

Last Saturday we had our annual Christmas Pancake Breakfast at the fire house followed by the Apex Christmas Parade that evening. Wes, Presley and I had a blast. Uncle Stephen was able to hang out with us and visit/play with Presley. Our friends Dave, Lauren and their little girl Caroline met us there. It was a great morning. I love these kinds of events. It makes are now large town seem small again. We came back that evening for the annual Christmas parade! We bundled Presley up from head to toe. She was an absolute cutie. Her nose was pink all night....just like Rudolfs! She absolutely loved the parade!! She was mesmerized by all the lights and music. What a great way to kick off the month of December and CHRISTMAS!!!

I have been a little behind in updating our blog. I'm hoping to catch up this weekend. Stay tuned!

The teeth are still coming!!

Presley now has a total of 7 teeth in her little mouth. I can see the eight tooth but it hasn't quite broken through yet. Will this child ever get a brake? My heart goes out to her. Since 4 months she has averaged 2 teeth a month. Hopefully after this eighth tooth pokes through she will have some down time before anymore start appearing.
