Busy, Busy, Busy

Things have been quite busy in the Moyer household throughout the month of May. There is so much that I don't quite know where to begin.

1: Mother's Day was AWESOME!! Wes & Presley made me breakfast in bed. Presley gave me a mug that says "Happy Mother's Day. You are the best mom ever!! Love Presley" Too Cute! Wes also gave me some spending cash!! YAY! BTW a female Cardinal flew into our glass door and was stunned for at least 45 minutes. We were able to pick her up and take pictures. HAHA!! Poor bird she was probably frightened to death.

2: I resigned from my "Corporate Job" to stay at home full-time and Wes decided to switch jobs. His new job with Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial will start June 1st.

3: We visited Faith & Toby a few weekends ago and had an absolute blast. Presley loved visiting her Aunt Faith & Uncle Toby. She is so spoiled.

4: Memorial Day: Cookouts, Friends, Family and the Pool!!! Hmmmm throwing balls in the pool may be fun?!?!

5: My Dads Birthday Party: My dads birthday was on Memorial Day this year. The guys went golfing that morning while mom and I prepared all the food and played with Presley. The birthday cookout was a great end to a wonderful weekend. Pictures soon to follow!!!

I think we are in the clear for a few down weekends coming up!! YAY! We are looking forward to relaxing. I will post more pictures soon! I have so many good ones that I need to get up on the site. I hope everyone enjoys their week!

Full-Time Mom!!

It is now official that I am a FULL-TIME MOM!! I turned in my notice this past week. For those who don't know I have been working part-time from home for the past year. It has been a major blessing to have that little extra cash while getting used to our new lifestyle with our little one. But now HALLELUJAH......I'm done! I can't wait for this new adventure and not feeling the pressure of work and deadlines. The Lord has truly blessed us and we are so thankful.

Job Duties will include but are not limited to:

Raising Our Family

The House Chef

The Chauffer

Bumps, Bruises, Headaches and Fevers I will take care of them all!!

We took Presley for her 1 year pictures yesterday morning and she did really well. She wasn't to keen on wanting to sit on things. It made her a little nervous. Other than that she was great. Below are a few of her shots. :) Enjoy!

PRESLEY'S 1st Birthday
Presley's 1st Birthday was a whirlwind. I blinked and the day was over. We had a busy Birthday week. Presley had her friends over for a dinner party on Wednesday and then her BIG 1st Birthday party on Saturday with family. Unfortunately, Presley was a little under the weather on her birthday. She was a trooper however, and loved seeing everyone.

I know all parents look forward to watching their child dive into their 1st Birthday cake. I was extremely excited about the event....however, to my surprise Presley wasn't interested in her cake at all. She actually became a little fussy. Poor thing. I think she had a minor cold on Saturday because it is now circulating throughout the family. If she felt the way I have been feeling these past couple of days I wouldn't want to eat a cake either. We did however give her a cup cake the next morning and she proudly ate it. Mommy's satisfied.......mission accomplished!!

Thanks to everyone who made Presley's 1st Birthday so special. Although she won't remember the day.....Wes and I will and we thank you! We love you all!
