Putting words together!!

Presley is beginning to put words together to create little sentences!! She is such a cutie doing it to. You can tell sometimes that it takes alot of concentration. Some of her new found sentences are:
Bye Bye Daddy
No No Mommy
All Done Mommy

She is growing so much and changing daily. She is doing alot of imagination play. She recently go a "little people" farm house and she will trot the horse around the barn and make the pig and lamb hop. It is too cute.

I will be posting pictures soon of our beach trip and of Miss Presley. Stay tuned!

Mommy Job Promotion

Ok....so I recently found out about a little promotion I will be getting in March. In March (March 6th) 2009 I will no longer be a Full-time mom of one. We are excited to announce that baby #2 is well on its way! YAY! I am currently 8 1/2 weeks and feeling better.

My 6th, 7th and beginning of my 8th week were very hard. I was exhausted and my nausea was all day. I was not this bad with Presley. Hopefully I am begininng to come out of the morning sickness phase.

Presley has been a trooper through it all. She will rub my leg when I feel bad. She is a great big helper. It is hard to believe she is going to be a big sister!! It is time for her to have a playmate around the house that is her size. ;)

We will keep everyone posted!!

PS: I will post our beach pictures soon!!!

Just The Girls

Presley and I are on our own this week. Wes left Sunday afternoon for Illinois for a training session with his new job. I find that my anxiety is higher when Wes flies alone. Ever since we had Presley I tend to be a little more nervous about him flying. If I was flying with him I don't think my anxiety would be as bad. It's interesting.

Wes will be home Thursday afternoon. Can't wait!!! But, until then Presley and I have been chalking this week up to a total girls week! YAY! Nana (my mom) has been coming over to visit in the evenings to keep me company and to play with Miss Presley. It is nice to have my mom right down the road because without Wes the house would be too quiet at night once Presley has gone down.

I am also working on a secret project for Wesley. I can't blab to much right now incase he reads the blog before he returns. I am so excited. I only hope that I can finish what I started before he returns.

Cheers to a week with the girls!! :)

Father's Day & Dinnertime Tantrums

Happy Father's Day Daddy

So in love!

Father's Day:

Another Father's Day weekend has come and gone. This past weeked feels like a complete blurr. On Friday we had Wes's mom and Jack over for dinner and cards. Fun! Fun! Saturday his dad and Karen over for a Father's Day cookout and on Sunday Presley and I celebrated Wesley with a homemade breakfast. Yum. Presley gave Wes a picture of her and a clay hand print. We both gave Wes a pair of cuff-links and an AWESOME shirt!! We spent Sunday afternoon at my parents house grilling out. Presley was pooped by the time the weekend was over.

Dinnertime Tantrums:

Ok....I don't know if anyone else has experienced this with a 14 month old but Presley is now starting to get really upset during dinner. She is great for breakfast & lunch but when dinner rolls around my sweet darling "life is good" child is nowhere to be found. This just started a little over a week ago. At the beginning of dinner she is "ok" but after about 15 minutes she starts fussing which ends up into a full blown cry/tantrum. The whole time she is trying to get out of her seat. So Wes and I eventually let her down to which she runs to my side of the table and starts trying to climb up my leg while moaning. We have tried moving dinner time up and not letting her snack close to dinner and so far neither have worked. My fingers are crossed that it is just a phase. Other than that she is a great/smart kid.
