Mountain Trip

August has been a busy month for Wes and I. We have had three weddings (one which we were both in), bachlorette and bachlor parties, wedding showers, birthdays and trip to Ohio for business.

We were finally able to get away for a mini-vacation last weekend to Blowing Rock, NC. We had a wonderful time and were able to escape the hot weather. This trip was nothing like our Ohio Adventure.....we seemed to have learned from that experience. ;) We did alot of sight-seeing taking Presley up the Blue Ridge Parkway and to the original Mast General Store (which is super cool). We love the mountains and I think Presley seemed to love the trip too. She does so well in the car.....she is so content until she either gets tired, hungry or just bored. We were even able to begin our Christmas shopping! That was my favorite part! YAY for Christmas.

As for an update on Presley. She is doing great and we believe she is now working on getting her top two teeth in. She has started that whole fussy phase again (similar to the one we experienced in Ohio). She is also scooting! I thinking crawling is just days away. I need to figure out how to upload a video because she is so cute when she makes all her attempts. It is amazing how fast time has gone by with her. Tonight I was packing up all her 0-3 and 3 month clothing and I found myself wanting those moments back. She is just so precious. Our little "bubbee" (her nickname).

Everything else is going great. Wes is staying very busy with work and seems to be really pleased with were his career is heading. He works so hard! I am still working part-time from home which I am still getting used to. I'm so blessed to have the opportunity to work from home and be with Presley all day. She's a trip. I think I am going to make her my secretary here shortly. ;)
